At the beginning of the interview, when he was asked the reason for not forming an alliance with the Akali Dal, Maan said that Sukhbir Badal neither has that much experience nor does he have any knowledge about the history of Sikhs and Punjab. He said that if we had formed an alliance with the Akali Dal, people would have been disappointed. Simranjit Singh Mann said that the SGPC is the parliament of the Sikhs, which has been forcibly occupied by the Badals for 11 years, while elections should be held every five years. Simranjit Singh Mann said that Rajoana’s sister has gone to Akali Dal Badal with a vengeance and her sister is unaware of the efforts made by Simranjit Singh Mann to stop Rajoana’s execution. Simranjit Singh Mann said that when he was a member of Parliament, he had also tried to stop the hanging of Rajoana as well as Bhullar. When Simranjit Singh Maan was asked why panthak leaders never come together, Maan said that the party always follows the thought and our party wants freedom of Punjab according to the thought of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala. Along with this, the financial condition can be improved only by opening the borders and doing business in Iran, Iraq, Syria and Pakistan and the debt of the farmers can be cleared. But Akali Dal Badal has always been in alliance with BJP which is a party of RSS which hates Sikhs. Apart from this, Simranjit Singh Mann also spoke about Aam Aadmi Party. Talking about the murder of Sidhu Moosewala, Simranjit Singh Mann said that he considered Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala as his hero and wanted to support us in the elections. He said that the central government was already aware of the threat to Sidhu Moosewala’s life, but the Punjab government had put his life in danger by withdrawing his security. Talking about Deep Sidhu, he said that the government is responsible for his death. Finally, he talked about the election environment and the press.
