This interview with Sarpanch Sukhbinder Singh was published on 29 January 2023. In this interview, there was a discussion about the clash between Aam Aadmi Party MLA Labh Singh Ugoke and the Sarpanch of Sahne village. At the beginning of the interview, he told that when the people were protesting against the opening of the Mohalla Clinic after closing the PHC hospital. During that conversation, there was a dispute between Labh Singh Ugoke and the sarpanch and Labh Singh, losing his cool, threatened to send the sarpanch to jail and abused him. The Sarpanch while talking said that now Labh Singh Ugoke is denying any such incident or what he said. He also said that before the elections, Labh Singh claimed that he would be present here for the development of Sahane village but after winning the elections, he did not even make a thank you visit. He said that despite these repeated requests Labh Singh did not come to his village. It is being claimed on social media by the IT wing of the government that many cases are registered against the son of the sarpanch and he is a criminal type of person. But denying all these allegations, he said that he is an educated person, a green card holder of Europe. Who has spent 60 lakh rupees from his personal income for the welfare and progress of the village. In which the government has no contribution. He often listens to people’s problems and solves them. So far, he has made the pension cards of about 900 senior citizens of his village. The president of the sarpanches of Malwa zone said that the sarpanches of all the villages are standing with Sukhbinder Singh of village Sehana. Apart from this, he also gave information about the difficulties faced by the Sarpanches during their tenure. The sarpanch of Sahana village said that before the elections Labh Singh used to keep in touch with him and praised him. But after winning the elections, neither Bhagwant Mann nor Labh Singh Udoke paid attention to their village. An attempt was made to contact Labh Singh Ugoke in the middle of the ongoing interview by the journalist, but there was no response. It was also being said by a sarpanch that Bhagwant Mann had used the name of martyrs to get votes from the people. Finally, they demanded that Labh Singh Ugoke should apologize to the Sarpanch of Sahana village.
