This interview with Sarpanch Jagtar Singh was published on 29 December 2022. In this interview, they talked about the sit-in against the Zeera Liquor factory and talked to the youth who dug bore wells from the factory. He said that on the day he went inside the factory with the committee to dig a borewell, a very strange attitude of the administration was seen. Sant Seechewal and Judge Jasbir Singh were also present at that time but the factory owners were calling the new bore wells old to confuse them. He said that the factory people were claiming that there are only 4 bore wells while 9 bore wells were dug from there and some more were left. He explained how the administration is helping the factory owner. He said that Jasbir Singh was following the instructions of MD Pawan Bansal. The NGT team that came to take water samples was also fake. He said that we had given an ultimatum to the administration before staging the sit-in. However, the administration arrived after 28 days and the reports against us were completely wrong. They said that we challenge that the administration and Deep Malhotra along with their family come to our village for a month and drink the water that we drink, then we promise that the strike will be stopped. He also gave his views on the issue of land attachment. He said that the government does not belong to the common people but to the corporates.
