RS Bains

This interview with RS Bains was published on 25 March 2023. In this interview, he was discussed about the current situation in Punjab. Regarding the absconding of Amritpal Singh, the imposition of the National Security Act on his colleagues and the shutdown of the Internet in Punjab, he said that we ourselves gave the excuse to the central government to do this. This opportunity was given by the Sikh community to the central government which they took full advantage of. In this, the young leaders also contributed fully with their stupidity or ignorance. Neither they understood democracy nor the game of politics. All possible efforts were made by the central government to malign the farmers movement, in the name of Khalistan, in the name of gangsters, but the leadership at that time acted very wisely. He said that shutting down the internet, declaring a person as a fugitive and the NSA, all these things are being done to create an atmosphere of terror in India and to project itself as the protector of the country. In such circumstances, the minority has to put forward its demands in an alert manner so that no one can provoke them. Amritpal Singh’s absconding has been used as an excuse to shut down websites and channels. He explained a lot of things, whether something is being done for the 2024 elections and why anyone who raises his voice against the government is called anti-national. He said that Punjab needs to be united. He said that the present Punjab government has no experience. Due to this, the Punjab government is being harassed because the central government wants to control this state. He said that a message delivered with a loving spirit is what works. We cannot give them by pointing the sword or by using provocative words. Apart from this, he shared very detailed information about the murder of Sidhu Moosewala. He said how Lawrence Bishnoi is being used. They also discussed about the charge sheet and weapon for the murder of Sidhu Moosewala.
