This interview with Rajwinder Singh Rahi was published on December 2, 2022. At the beginning of the interview, when he was asked about a statement made by Joginder Singh Ugrahan on the occasion of Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s birthday, he refused to say anything about it. He said that I still have the same stand on the issue of comrades and Sikhs. He said that nowadays people do not read books, people are losing interest in literature day by day. But due to book fairs, young people are becoming aware of reading books. He said that nowadays superstitious kind of things has been increased among Sikhs and authorities or any entity should speak against it. He said that the Akal Takht Sahib has been occupied by the Brahminical powers. That is why all decisions are made under their influence, such as changes in Nanakshahi calendar etc. He said that the discrimination against Dalit Sikhs by Nihang Singhs (Buddha Dal), Baba Bakala, Bidhi Chand Wale and Sur Singh Wale was also discussed with the Jathedar but all efforts went in vain. Rajwinder Singh Rahi said that Jathedar Harpreet Singh follows badals. He said that we are conducting a program regarding the appointment or removal of the Jathedar in which all Sikhs will participate. He said that discussion should be based on logic. Apart from this, he said that RSS and BJP has possessed on shri Akal Takht Sahib with the help of Akali Dal. They do not want elections for the Jathedar of Akal Takht to be held. Citing the example of Bibi Jagir Kaur, he said that Sikhs are becoming aware due to which the rebellion is also taking place. During the conversation, he said that the SGPC members have become selfish. He said that there should never be discrimination on the basis of caste in Sikhi because it is not the teaching of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
