This interview with Daljit Singh Baddowal was published on 1 January 2023. The young man has been living in New Zealand for the past five years and is fond of writing. Daljit Singh came to Punjab from New Zealand on 23 May 2022 to meet his parents. At the beginning of the interview, he criticized Bhagwant Mann while reciting one of his writings, in which he spoke about the delay in getting justice for Sidhu’s parents. Daljit Singh said that he developed a passion for writing while living in New Zealand in 2017. He also studies history. After the death of Sidhu Moosewala, when he came to Musa village, while describing the whole atmosphere there, Daljit Singh said that Sidhu’s parents are very humble. Daljit Singh said that one of his songs has already been released on YouTube, which has received a very good response. He said that it was very disappointing to see that people who had succeeded with Sidhu’s support, today they did not stand with his parents. Daljit Singh said that this time he felt a lot of difference in the atmosphere of Punjab compared to the last five years. Apart from this, he also recited a poem written for the release of the captive Singhs. Many other things were discussed with him in this interview.
