The unique thing about this village is that in the memory of Maharaja Ranjit Singh ji, a very good library has been built in his name. In which based on the number of books read by the reader in a year, the first, second and third place will be selected and money will be given to them as a prize. In this way the people of other villages will also get motivation and guidance to do the same. A campaign was also started in 2019 by the villagers. In which dirty plastic was collected from people and sugar, jaggery and rice were given to them in return. Similarly, farmers who do not burn stubble are compensated and people are encouraged to plant and maintain trees by giving them fruit trees and money. Bhagwant Mann also says that governments should also learn from Ransinh Kalan how development happens. In this village, the waste water is treated and used for agriculture and the village also has a very good sewage system. By cleaning the dirty ponds, they have been transformed into lakes. He said that to develop the village, it is more important than money to have will power. That is why 80% contribution in the development of the village is from the villagers who worked tirelessly and 20% support from the government. He said that the selection of Sarpanch should be done unanimously and select the person who is willing to work. Because development is possible if there is community. About which there was a lot of discussion but nothing came out. After which the matter escalated to such an extent that Balwinder Singh Sekhon was sentenced by the court accusing him of defamation. Jagmohan Singh said that Vijay Kunwar Singh’s report is not a drug report but an investigation by the Economic Wing. She said that appeals are being made to the administration for a long time but no justice is being given by the government. Rupinder Kaur said that she had given some important names to the government about Sandeep’s murder and had also sent the location of those men, from whom the government did not even inquire. Rather, Rupinder Kaur is told by the administration that no action can be taken without evidence, while finding evidence is the job of the administration. Rupinder Kaur said that the killers have tried to create an atmosphere of fear by shooting Sandeep in the ground, that’s why even the players are not raising their voice. Rupinder said that she needs the support of the players but first the players should take care of their safety. Rupinder said that she also get threats. He left his Grade 1 job and went abroad and ran a Punjabi newspaper there too and now he is thinking of coming to Punjab permanently with his family but is in a dilemma. Jaspal Singh said that the background of migration of Punjabis is when the Sikh Punjabi soldiers were honored by Queen Victoria in London during the victory of World War II. After which a group of them went on a tour to North America and those Punjabis liked that place and were the first Punjabis who went and settled there. But they also had to face such a dilemma. He gave an example of capitalists like Rothschild and the migration of Punjabis 150 years ago. He said that the history of the world is the history of migration because if migration is removed from history, nothing is left and this process never stops. Jaspal Singh said that a person should not forget his background while going to any new place. He said that this issue is also related to the economy because the economy forces migration. He said that students who migrate to Canada face many challenges in the job market and start from zero. He told the average annual income of Punjabis, how much the old Punjabis earn and how much the students earn and how they spend. He explained all this phenomenon very well. Tarsem Singh Sandor said that the government has used Kabaddi, not preserved it. He said that today Haryana is ahead of Punjab in the field of Kabaddi. He said that the reason for this reverse migration is that people are losing their families, losing their heritage and breaking away from their roots to earn money. Karan Singh said that despite having a business worth millions of dollars in Canada, after two years of going abroad, he realized that one day he would return to Punjab. This decision of Karan Singh was taken to keep his future generations connected with Punjab. With which his family and his wife also agreed. He said that of course there is a lot of money in Canada but there is no peace in that country because people think only about work day and night but in Punjab you are the owner of your choice and can earn by doing your agriculture or other work. Karan Singh said that nowadays people are going abroad even after being influenced by each other. While the children who have gone abroad have to face many difficulties besides being away from their family, struggle, stress, burden of shifts and many more. Apart from this, he said that even in foreign countries, there are more expenses and inflation than income. Karan Singh thinks that children should be connected with their region or heritage from childhood. Talking about Canada, he said that there is more gangster culture, crime or drugs than Punjab. This interview with Sidhu Moosewale’s uncle Chamkaur Singh Sidhu was published on 2 April 2023. In this interview, he told how far the proceedings of Sidhu Moosewala’s case have reached and his family is struggling for justice for the death of his son, but the government is not investigating his case seriously. He said the government had only caught the shooters and not the mastermind of the murder. Chamkaur Singh Sidhu said that while talking about the health of Sidhu Moosewala’s father, he said that he is very sick and the pain of Sidhu’s parents cannot be expressed in words. He said that the government only gives consolation but not justice while the family wants that the mastermind of Sidhu’s murder should be caught. He said that the family kept giving information to the administration about who was threatening Sidhu’s family and how Sidhu Musewala and his family were being harassed. Chamkaur Singh said that even after the murder, the family has been trying to provide possible information about the case to the government at its own level. He said that the government is aware of all the activities, how collections are made by opening offices in Mohali and ransoms are demanded, but the government neither investigates nor takes any action. He said that there was an expectation of change from the Aam Aadmi Party, but it also did not live up to the expectations of the people. He said that as in the Delhi farmers’ dharna, the Sikhs joined in large numbers and created a different identity by protesting in a peaceful manner. Due to which the people of other states also started joining the Sikhs. But the anti-Sikh forces never want that which is why they conspire to bring down the Sikhs. He said that in the meeting held at Akal Takht Sahib on 27th, it was also said that this is a trap spread to tarnish the image of Sikhs. He said that efforts have always been made to weaken Punjab politically, economically, socially, linguistically and religiously. Punjabis have always been emotional and combative who do not tolerate prejudice against them. He said that when the Sikh community accepts someone as its leader and he becomes unable to support. Then such an environment is created, due to which it is the right time for the anti-Sikh forces to oppress the Sikhs. First the atmosphere is disturbed, then Sikh youths are arrested in the name of controlling the situation. He said that the national party cannot talk about the welfare, rights, security and issues of the people of a state like a regional party can. In this interview, there was a discussion about the clash between Aam Aadmi Party MLA Labh Singh Ugoke and the Sarpanch of Sahne village. At the beginning of the interview, he told that when the people were protesting against the opening of the Mohalla Clinic after closing the PHC hospital. During that conversation, there was a dispute between Labh Singh Ugoke and the sarpanch and Labh Singh, losing his cool, threatened to send the sarpanch to jail and abused him. The Sarpanch while talking said that now Labh Singh Ugoke is denying any such incident or what he said. He also said that before the elections, Labh Singh claimed that he would be present here for the development of Sahane village but after winning the elections, he did not even make a thank you visit. He said that despite these repeated requests Labh Singh did not come to his village. Joginder Singh said that he got his basic music education from Giani Gurnam Singh Brar and later he continued to learn from Maan(one of his group member)and their art continued to improve with practice. He said that due to platforms like YouTube it has become very easy to release and promote a song these days. During the conversation they sang a religious song about Hari Singh Nalua. He said that the government is responsible for drug addiction and unemployment in Punjab. Apart from this, while talking about Bhai Amritpal Singh, he said that he is motivating the youth to give up drugs and become Sikhs and is talking about the rights of Punjab. They also expressed his views about the growing gun culture in Punjab. They said that many young people come to them with the desire to learn music. Talking about their journey, they said that they have always been telling the truth, due to which he got a lot of praise and support from their villagers. This interview with Rupinder Singh Sidhu was published on 24 January 2023. In this interview, the issue of revised syllabus of PSSSB paper was discussed with him. At the beginning of the interview, he said that the issue of saving the Punjabi language is very serious. He said that PSSSB is the education board through which the paper is conducted and Punjabi language has been omitted from the papers this time. Giving detailed information about Paper A and Paper B, he said that Paper B, which is based on merit list. Punjabi subject has been removed from it which was earlier a paper of 35 marks. While sharing his views on this subject, he said that the policy of the government is correct. But the government has implemented this policy in a wrong way. He said that the government says that Punjabi will be made compulsory for clerks, but if the children have to become peons after learning Punjabi, they will prefer to study English and go abroad. Kuldeep Singh said that the statement given by Bhagwant Mann is base as it was all done to call off the dharna. He said that as long as the license of the factory is not canceled by the government and the illegal cases against the protestors are not withdrawn, the protest will continue. He said that because of this factory, the underground potable water has become chemical. Kuldeep Singh Zira demanded from the government to provide a hospital and RO system in this area. So that sick people can be treated and people can get clean drinkable water. He said that if Bhagwant Maan takes a decision in favor of the people then it will be appreciated but if he takes a decision against the people then the people will continue the protest. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party only makes statements but does not implement anything. Kuldeep Singh Zira, while talking about journalism, said that only because of some good channels, the voice of the protestors could reach the people. He said that people are dying of diseases due to using dirty water. For this, the owner of the factory should be fined and punished. Finally, he appealed to the government to cancel the license of this factory in the assembly.

He said that according to the doctors’ investigations, the ash of the factory falling on the fodder of the animals, which is blown by the wind and falls on the fields, is the reason for the death of the animals. He said that the animals had become so sick that the doctors had forbidden the family to drink their milk. Along with this, by reverse boring in the factory, the discharge of the factory is sent to the ground water. People have also become victims of life-threatening diseases due to drinking such dirty water. Telling their problems and ailments, the villagers said that this factory should be closed in all circumstances. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party is performing worse than the previous government. This interview with Daljit Singh Baddowal was published on 1 January 2023. The young man has been living in New Zealand for the past five years and is fond of writing. Daljit Singh came to Punjab from New Zealand on 23 May 2022 to meet his parents. At the beginning of the interview, he criticized Bhagwant Mann while reciting one of his writings, in which he spoke about the delay in getting justice for Sidhu’s parents. Daljit Singh said that he developed a passion for writing while living in New Zealand in 2017. He also studies history. After the death of Sidhu Moosewala, when he came to Musa village, while describing the whole atmosphere there, Daljit Singh said that Sidhu’s parents are very humble. So we challenge them to drink the water of our villages continuously for a week and prove to us that this water is drinkable, then we will stop the protest. He said that the government is in collusion with the factory owner Malhotra. He said that the water of our villages has become highly polluted and black dirty liquid kind of water is coming out of the bore wells. Apart from this, people and animals are also dying of life-threatening diseases. He said that people are suffering from respiratory diseases, cancer and diseases are also spreading among animals. Apart from this, he also questioned the poor performance of the committees. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party has proved more wrong than the Akali government and the Congress government. He said that Saint Seechewal is no longer a saint but he has become a politician who speaks the language of Bhagwant Maan. He said that the Badals started this factory by telling lies during their government. He said that people were told by the Badals during their government that a bicycle factory is starting here. In this interview, they talked about the sit-in against the Zeera Liquor factory and talked to the youth who dug bore wells from the factory. He said that on the day he went inside the factory with the committee to dig a borewell, a very strange attitude of the administration was seen. Sant Seechewal and Judge Jasbir Singh were also present at that time but the factory owners were calling the new bore wells old to confuse them. He said that the factory people were claiming that there are only 4 bore wells while 9 bore wells were dug from there and some more were left. He explained how the administration is helping the factory owner. He said that Jasbir Singh was following the instructions of MD Pawan Bansal. The NGT team that came to take water samples was also fake. He said that we had given an ultimatum to the administration before staging the sit-in. However, the administration arrived after 28 days and the reports against us were completely wrong. They said that we challenge that the administration and Deep Malhotra along with their family come to our village for a month and drink the water that we drink, then we promise that the strike will be stopped. He also gave his views on the issue of land attachment. He said that the government does not belong to the common people but to the corporates.

In this interview, there was a discussion with him about the sit-in against Zeera liquor factory and 16 false cases (FIR’s) filed against him by the administration. He said that we are demanding clean air and clean water from the administration and are appealing to close this factory because people and animals are dying due to it. He said that the discharge of the factory is thrown into the underground water through the bore well due to which the water of the nearby villages has become very polluted. He said that the government is making false cases against us to discourage the protestors and call off the dharna. Therefore, the government cannot be trusted. Apart from this, he also gave information about the difficulties faced by the prisoners in the jail. He said that the government should impose a penalty of 5-600 crores on the owner of this factory. But the administration also helps the owner of the industry. During the interview, some men were seen digging a bore well from the factory and cleaning it with the help of the administration.

This interview with RTI activist Manik Goyal was published on 25 December 2022. In this interview, he was discussed about the sit-in against the Zeera Liquor Factory. He said that if the government wanted, it could have resolved this issue long ago, but the government did not pay any attention to it. Where on one hand the factory owners are claiming that there is 0 discharge system in the factory. The villagers there are telling that the discharge is being sent to the ground water by reverse boring. He said that when Deep Malhotra went to court after the factory was closed, the government had given Rs 5 crore as compensation for the loss of his factory in October. Then in November another Rs 15 crore was given that too without making any challenge. In this interview, Manik Goyal explained what business Deep Malhotra had in Delhi and how that business came to Punjab. Talking about the land attachment issue, Manik Goyal said that the Aam Aadmi Party is in favor of the factory owner. He said that due to the laudable efforts of advocate RS Bains, the lands were not attached. Apart from this, Manik Goyal explained how media management is being done by the government in Punjab. This interview with Davinder Singh Sekhon was published on 21 December 2022. In this interview, he was discussed about the sit-in against the Zeera Liquor Factory. At the beginning of the interview, he explained in detail about the corporate lobby of Delhi, how all the policies are being made from Delhi in which Punjab has no contribution. This industry is being brought to pollute the water of Punjab. He said that Ludhiana’s “Buddha Nala” is the result of textile industry pollution. Davinder Singh Sekhon explained about the liquor plots and how the whole process of making ethanol from grain works. What are the effects or consequences? Due to which this factory comes at number 17 among the most polluted factories in Punjab. He said that during this process, by breaking down glucose with bacteria, ammonia, sulphate and organic compounds are produced a lot. Due to which 25-35% of the water is taken to be filtered but it is re-bored and sent into the earth. Due to which the forest has dried up and the land looks barren. He explained in detail the water sampling conducted by the government and also gave various statistics from the laboratories. Davinder Singh Sekhon said that instead of doing justice, the government is arresting the peaceful protestors. He said that an application for this has also been submitted to the UNO. If the government does not come up with a solution, then the issue will be taken up in the G20 summit to be held in March, for which the Punjab government, Raghav Chadha and Kejriwal will be responsible.

At the beginning of the interview, he said that the government has arrested the youth who were protesting peacefully. He said that why actions are being taken against these people who are only demanding clean air, water and soil from the government while the arrested should be those who sell drugs. During the conversation, he told about the meeting with Bhagwant Mann that the CM was asked to close the factory. But the government is not taking this issue seriously. He said that two Aam Aadmi Party MLAs believe that the water in the village is so polluted that it is not drinkable. But the government is saying that the factory is operational. Apart from this, 8 out of 10 samples of the government test have also failed. He said that CM Bhagwant Maan works according to Kejriwal and Raghav Chadha. He said that after the owner of the factory admitted his mistake, money was sent to the accounts of those people, whose 60 to 70 animals had died due to the pollution of this factory. But the government is lathi-charging the peaceful protestors and around a hundred protestors have been arrested. He said that due to this factory, the environment and water are getting polluted and people are suffering from life-threatening diseases. He said that earlier the government had stated that it would take action against the owner of the liquor factory who is at fault, but it has not happened till date. He said that the government has formed committees for action, but after forming the committees, there is no scope for justice. He said that the government reneged on what it said and cases were filed against 15 leaders, 25 unidentified cases and some leaders were also arrested. He said that the government had claimed that justice would be given but by doing so the action of the government was done in favor of Malhotra (factory owner). Surjit Singh Phool said that we had already asked the government to inform the High Court about the damage to the environment and people caused by the factory and the illegal mining by Malhotra. So that the factory is closed. Apart from this, he explained in detail how much damage is being done to the environment or people due to this factory. But the government did not even file an FIR against Malhotra. Apart from this, Surjit Singh Phool also talked about the murder of Sidhu Moosewala. Finally, he said that a lot of time has passed, now people want justice from the government.

People are desperate and are turning to drugs. He said that internal conflicts also occur due to economic hardship. But the positive side of this is that the people of Punjab have become worried and aware and on the other hand, there is polarization in the society. This is happening all over the world. He said that the central core of India thinks differently. While the outer regions think differently, for example Tamil Nadu’s political thinking is similar to that of Punjab. He said that nowadays the youth are becoming aware and raising their voice but there is no one to give them the right direction. He said that after the farmer’s protest, the confidence of people has increased, so they know how to fight on an issue. As in the Matewada case, leadership was seen among the youth. Apart from this, he also spoke about the leadership of Punjab. He said that the political leaders above the age of 50 of the previous governments have no idea about the new generation, what they want or not. He said that the thinking of Aam Aadmi Party is new but the style of politics is the same as that of previous governments. The interview begins with the three talking about their respective journeys, how they met each other and how their interest in this field arose. All three of them are around 50 years of age and for them their job is the first preference and the hobby(kawishri) comes second. Sukhraj Singh is the headmaster of a government primary school. He has also been honored by the government with the State Award and Jagsir Singh has also received many awards from Krishna Kumar. This shows that these people are very hardworking in their respective jobs. In addition, they mentioned which author’s and poets writing they like to sing. Apart from this they explained how many types of verses there are. They said that today’s youth do not read books due to which their study and vocabulary has decreased. They said that they performs in religious programs as well as in cultural fairs. Which is lead by Arshdeep Singh who plays sarangi along with singing and his other co-stars play other instruments and sing along with him. Nowadays they are also releasing their own songs and doing live shows. The most unique thing is that despite belonging to a Muslim family, Arshdeep Singh has been wearing a turban since the fourth class. All of them met each other for the first time at the youth festival of the college and after that they came together and formed their own group. Since 2014 they are all together and doing their work in this field. They said that many youngsters approach them and express their desire to learn music or join the group. Episode no. 113 This interview with activist Himanshu Kumar was published on 25 November 2022. In this interview, he was discussed about the fine of five lakh rupees imposed on him by the Supreme Court. At the beginning of the interview, while telling about this fine, he told the whole story that the Supreme Court has accused him of lying in the case of the killing of tribals of Chhattisgarh. He said that this case dates back to 2009 when Chhattisgarh police and government gave guns to 5000 youths and told them that they are special officers and this whole incident was done by SPO’s together. He told how much heart-rending torture and how the killing happened with the victim’s family. Himanshu Kumar filed their case in the Supreme Court in 2010. After that, how the police abducted the tribals, the video of which was made by the journalists and how the statements were presented that they did not know about this murder incident. Then the Supreme Court ordered that the action of the police should have been trusted so that the time of the Supreme Court was not wasted. While the crime committed by the police is the task of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has imposed a fine of Rs 5 lakh on Himanshu Kumar as a petitioner, which Himanshu has absolutely refused to pay. He said that this massacre has been done by the corporates because they want to extract iron, diamonds, gold, silver from the lands of the tribals. Talking about the great warriors of the Sikh panth, he told which people had committed treason against the Sikhs. She also discussed about SGPC elections to be held on 9th. Talking about the meeting held in Badal village and the internal arrangement, she said that she is not against anyone. In this interview Bibi Jagir Kaur said that she is not related to any committee, any group or any other political leader, she is only related to Shiromani Akali Dal. She said that Shiromani Akali Dal is a disbanded party. Bibi Jagir Kaur said that she had written a letter to the party president and asked the reason for the suspension to which no reply was received. Talking on this subject in an interview, she is telling that in such circumstances some social organizations have come in her favor and are standing with her. Throughout this interview, she tells how a policeman makes phone calls and sends messages to her in a wrong way and tries to defame her along with his colleagues. Harjinder Kaur said that despite her many efforts, the administration is neither taking any action nor helping her and privately her relatives are helping her to get information about those persons. He said that the one you help in the Punjabi industry is the one who harms you. He said that there is a system like Bollywood in Punjabi film industry too. While the people of South film industry stand for each other. He said that today the Punjabi audience does not see your hard work or acting but the number of followers on social media. He said that he always tries to show the truth and history of Punjab in his films like the film Mitti. He said that now he is thinking of starting a web series.
