This interview of Kabaddi superstar Nanak Hathur was published on 28 June 2022. In which he openly talked about the bad times he faced after his success. Nanak Hathoor is currently doing government job as a DPE teacher. He said that his father had struggled a lot in life for the education and success of Ekam, Nanak and Nirbhay. Talking to the journalist about achieving success in the game of Kabaddi, Nanak Hathur said that since childhood, good food and playing environment was created in his home. Due to which he became a Kabaddi player, but along with playing, he always excelled in studies. During the conversation, Nanak Hathur said that since his childhood, he had a passion to become a teacher. But after completing his studies, he worked in the Punjab Police for some time and then gave the test in 2011, as a result of which he got a job in 2020. After achieving the heights of success, when Nanak Hathur had a bad time in his life, there was no one to guide him, due to which he also started taking drugs. Nanak said that if the intention of a person is right and the will power is strong, then he gets out of bad situations. Nanak Hathur said that family support, positivity and counseling are very important to quit drugs. Nanak Hathur said that he gives moral education to his students along with education. Looking at the happenings today, Nanak said that Kabaddi politics is more dangerous than other politics. He said that if there is unity among the players, then the system can be improved. In the end, Nanak Hathur said that he regrets looking back on the past that he wasted in drugs but he considers himself lucky that he is now living a good life. Nanak said that he is fully satisfied in life and will work for his students and society in the future.
