Mintu Gurusaria said that he is not always against the government, but when the government does good work, he also appreciates it. Regarding the government’s debt, Mintu Gurusaria said that taking a loan is not a bad thing, but it should be used for industrialization or providing ancillary business to farmers. After which Bhagwant Mann hugged Dallewal and posed for a photo. In these demands, there was also a discussion about the concrete layer being laid in the canals of Punjab. Apart from all this, burning of stubble by the farmers was the most talked about in the meeting. Dallewal said that along with the farmers, the government is also responsible for protests or issues in Punjab. Dallewal also discussed in detail about Bhagwant Mann’s response and consent to the farmers’ demands. He said that people have trusted Bhagwant Maan but the government is not fulfilling the promises made to the people. Giving information about the protest, he said that the fight of Majbi Sikh community is not with the farmers, they are demanding from the government that the government should fix the wages for labourers and increase the rate too. He said that the farmers are committing suicide because they are fed up with the government. He said that people are accusing me of spreading hatred in the community but I have no such intention. He said that our community has always come forward to make sacrifices for the society. So we should get our demands accepted. He said that we are going to protest in front of DC office of Mansa district. Apart from this, he also gave his opinion about Bhagwant Mann’s government. He asked the traders and industrialists to increase the salaries of the employees. He said that no MLA is speaking in our favor. He said that people of England are honest and law & order is also good. The journalist asked Charan Likhari the reason for the declining love among people, to which Charan replied that it is happening because of increasing selfishness. Along with this, Charan Likhari also feels that people did not participate seriously during the farmers protest. While talking, he shared one of his masterpieces with the audience. He consider simplicity, inner peace and calmness as the real joy of life. Charan Likhari likes his past time very much even though it was full of difficulties. When the journalist asked Charan Likhari why he is different from others, he said that he loves to live a simple life. Charan Likhari praised Satinder Sartaj a lot and said that he likes the poems of Shiv Kumar Batalvi, Bulleh Shah, Surjit Patar, Shah Hussain and especially Waris Shah. He also expressed his desire to visit Pakistan. Charan said that his compositions suits best in Ranjit Bawa’s voice. At the beginning of the interview, he said that nowadays people do not want to work and laborers are not found to work in the fields. He said that earlier people were hardworking but now the youth are not interested in working in the fields. Jagtar Singh also told about his beekeeping (apiculturel) work. He said that in earlier times people used to contribute to each other’s work but nowadays people are jealous of each other. He said that there is no shortage of work for a hardworking person in the world, but a person should not be lazy but should have desire and passion. When the journalist asked Jagtar Singh the reason for not planting paddy, he said that by doing so, he is trying to save water because it consume a lot of water for planting paddy and the water level has been decreased rapidly. He said that people should grow vegetables organically at home and not depend on the market for everything. He said that being loyal to one’s work is also devotion. When the journalist asked him the reason for the declining water level, he said that the water was not managed in a systematic way. Apart from this, the journalist also asked him about the reasons for the rapidly increasing migration. Jagtar Singh said that this is a crisis but the new government can be expected to find a solution. Finally, answering the journalist’s question, he said that we are all responsible for the low water level and he gave a message to the farmers that the farmers should motivate their children to work hard and also try to make some changes in the crops.
